A fabulous, bold navy blue and red patterned one-piece synthetic/polyester swimsuit original from 1960s. The beautiful classic design represents a sophisticated and feminine style which is representative of earlier California surf culture and beach lifestyle and a unique full front hook-closure bust. The more dense-knit characteristic of these earlier designs allows for a very stretchy yet durable feel, but also creates a very slimming and body-contouring look which accentuates natural curves. There is a built-in plastic shelf bra (signature of this era) which helps form and accentuate the chest region and the bottom cut is a boy-short type brief; backside is a mild low round scooped open back. This swim suit is a rare treasure and a definite statement piece for any classic ladyslider surfer or beach-loving gal. Features 100% synthetics polyester w/ lined chest & molded plastic cups best suited for B-C plus bust; a classic beach style straight from the 1960s.
Condition: Excellent vintage condition; no rips, holes, stains, color is still with original vibrancy & fabric is in mint condition. All swimwear has been delicately hand-washed and protected if/while worn for any photo shoot images.
